Oh Land Takes You Beyond Boundaries at Soundscape!

Oh Land is set to transport Soundscape Festival to the future with hypnotic soundscapes, symphonic melodies, and driving rhythms!

Known for his extraordinary stage presence and genre-defying music, Danish singer-songwriter and music producer Oh Land offers audiences a different experience at the Soundscape Festival with an awe-inspiring performance that blends grand soundscapes, symphonic elements and hard rhythms. Using a special instrument of his own design, Oh Land promises festival-goers an immersive musical experience.

Born Nanna Øland Fabricius on May 2, 1985, in Copenhagen, Denmark, to an opera singer mother and an organist father, Oh Land's musical journey began at an early age. A former ballet student, she was forced to give up dance due to a slippery floor accident and spinal fracture, leading her to pursue music as her creative outlet.

While training at the Royal Danish Ballet Academy, Oh Land experienced an injury that prompted her to rediscover herself and explore her true talent and passion as a musician. She describes her artistic vision as "aiming to sound like I'm from the future, yet still have that classic feel that makes music feel like an old friend."

Oh Land's music is infused with an infectious energy that gets people moving. Her powerful tracks like "Sun of a Gun" and the upbeat anthem "White Nights" have the ability to transform even the most hesitant listener into an enthusiastic dancer.

Oh Land's inspiring live performances, seamlessly combining her instrumental talents and dynamic visuals, have earned her a global fan base. Her music has taken her on international tours, including opening for renowned artists such as Katy Perry and Sia.

Oh Land's discography boasts a collection of acclaimed hits, including "Sun Of A Gun," "White Nights," the fan favorite "Wolf & I," "Renaissance Girls," and "Cherry On Top," paving the way for her continued success in the music industry.

A versatile artist, Oh Land has also composed music for films, theater, and the classical music world. She has graced the stage of New York's Carnegie Hall alongside Lang Lang and Joshua Bell, and performed with the Danish Symphony Orchestra in her native Denmark.

In 2016, Oh Land collaborated with the Queen of Denmark to create a ballet for the Danish Royal Theatre. The following year, she composed the music for "Watermusic," a multimedia performance that brought together architecture, dance, and music, attracting over 15,000 spectators at Randers Harbor. Oh Land also teamed up with Eske Kath to create the musical score for the exhibition "The Ship."

Oh Land's most recent project involved reimagining Denmark's National Anthem as a dark and dystopian theme song for Netflix's hit sci-fi series "The Rain."

When she performs at the Oh Land Soundscape Festival, music lovers can expect an exceptional performance that showcases her extraordinary artistry and unwavering dedication to her craft. Her ability to blend genres, captivate audiences and push creative boundaries makes her a true force to be reckoned with in the music world.
